In keeping with the idea that this project should be shared with the world, the team is currently designing an interdisciplinary curriculum for students. This curriculum will encompass the rich variety of educational material presented in the American Epic films, and will become a template for use in classrooms across the country.

We plan to supplement the educational materials with tours of schools and colleges in which students can have the opportunity to interact with filmmakers and musicians, as well as the technology of the 1920’s, including the Scully lathe and Western Electric amplifier which is the foundation of all sound in movies and recordings today.

As we develop these programs, we will release more information on affiliated schools and institutions.

Most of the research materials have been digitized and now require our expert team to archive and curate them into a great online educational resource. In order to bring this history to the widest possible audience, our team will complete this digitization program to make the highest quality photos, audio and film footage available for individuals, schools and people around the world.
